“The Ancestors’
Breath” republished
on Republibot.com
Let’s face it. Tyr Anasazi
would have been a
Republican, of sorts, or at
least understanding if not
sympathetic to much of the
Republican philosophy. Of
course, they never could
have gotten him to toe the
party line, and he probably
would have killed several.
For those of you who don't
remember, or never got to
read "The Ancestors'
Breath, Reflections and
Reminiscences of
Barbarossa's Son," the
entire collection of journal
entries are being published
currently on
republibot.com. These
were a series of essays
written from the
perspective of Tyr Anasazi
on the Sci-fi series, Gene
Roddenberry's Andromeda.
You can click on the
link to be taken to the site's
homepage, where you can
also access an interview
given to the magazine in
the month of April, or click
the individual links to be
taken directly to the
particular piece in their
"Original Fiction" section.
Eight years later, this
character still speaks to a
surprisingly broad
spectrum of readers.
I love it.
